The award winning Company was formed in February 2008 however the concept for the original “Musicals in Motion” show was born winter 2007.
Singing Tooth Productions is a family business whose main aim is to bring the essence, emotion and grandeur of West End and Broadway style performances to theatres and events throughout the UK and Ireland.
The Company is made up of both technical and artistic minds – a perfect marriage to produce shows and performances which have received rave reviews wherever they have been seen.
The shows from Singing Tooth Productions are unique and in their own way, spectacular and thoroughly entertaining for all the family.

“Musicals in Motion” was the first show of its kind and involved the very latest in rear projection technology via a 24 square metre screen. The sets and ensemble were projected onto the stage and seamlessly interacted with the live performers.
The show premiered in July 2008 to a full house and toured the rest of 2008 with its original cast.

During the Spring of 2009, “Musicals in Motion” welcomed a new leading lady to the show. Rachel Slater had an amazing Musical Theatre voice but also had an awesome operatic range. Musicals in Motion evolved to include new numbers (including Phantom Of The Opera) and new CGI sets. |
The show continued to tour throughout 2009 and received rave reviews throughout its 60 date tour of the UK and Ireland.
During the successful tour, the demand for a “Musicals in Motion 2” to return the following year overwhelming.

In November 2009, “Musicals in Motion 2” premiered at the Yours Live! Event to an 800-strong audience and received a standing ovation and fantastic reviews from Yours Magazine and the audience alike.
It is currently touring throughout 2010.
“Musicals in Motion 2” – headlining as “taking you even further on a magical musical journey” does exactly that!
New amazing songs and CGI videos, incredible sound and lighting - all uniquely interacting with the breathtaking talents of Jem Brent and Rachel Slater.
This show is certainly one not to miss!

During February 2009, “Musicals in Motion” was featured on BBC TV and has been fortunate enough to receive great reviews from presenters such as Nic Owen and Judi Spiers. Due to this and rave audience reviews with features in National and Local press many of the shows in 2009 sold out. |
Both “Musicals in Motion” and “Musicals in Motion 2” have also been hired to provide the entertainment at corporate events, celebrations and private functions.
As well as touring “Musicals in Motion” and “Musicals in Motion 2”, Singing Tooth Productions have produced two stand-alone shows – “Flashpoint” (which sold out 2 out of 2 dates in October 2010) and “Christmas in Motion” (which sold out 3 out of 3 dates in December 2010).
The concept of these shows was to bring something unique and spectacular to the stage using the rear-screen technology and a much larger live (and indeed unique) cast.
“Flashpoint”, produced in association with ROC Creative in Paignton
involved a cast of over 30 people with severe learning difficulties and Down’s Syndrome. This was the most rewarding project ever undertaken by the company. Its goal was to break-down the stereotypical view of people with learning difficulties by showing their amazing talents and
abilities on the stage. Both ROC Creative and Singing Tooth Productions
were 100% successful in their goals thanks to the incredible cast. “Flashpoint 2” is planned for 2011.
“Christmas in Motion” was a fun-filled extravaganza and produced in association with a local Amateur Dramatic Organisation with a cast of over 30. Based on “’Twas The Night Before Christmas” the show gave an alternative to traditional pantomimes. Combining the incredible talents of Shropshire’s professional, semi-professional and amateur performers the show interacts the live cast with virtual sets and ensembles and is a night of Christmas Number 1’s throughout the ages.
Due to the size of the 24 square metre projection screen, many smaller theatres and special events
were not able to host any of the shows. To cater to this, the Company’s newest concepts were developed:
“Musicals in Cabaret” is a spectacular gala performed by professional stars in stunning costumes and incredible lighting taking the audience on a journey though some of the best musical numbers ever produced. Although the show does not include the rear-projection screen, it has still proved to be an amazing night out for all the family and an amazing entertainment for parties and corporate events alike.
Singing Tooth Productions also realised that musical theatre is not to everyone’s taste. Also some venues wanted to be more involved with regard to the performers. This was most evident in Holiday Parks where they wanted a show-on-a-theme using their own performers.
“80’s in Motion” was conceived during the winter of 2008, developed during 2009 and will now finally be coming into production in the spring of 2010 at Clarach Holiday Park, Aberystwyth.
The continued success of Singing Tooth Productions lies firmly with its ability to listen and evolve
in an ever-changing technical World, bringing technology and traditional theatre closer together.
We look forward to seeing you soon! |
