The Singing Tooth Scholarship Award.
"It is vitally important that professional productions give as many breaks as possible to young performers.
After seeing a few Musical Theatre Academy shows, in 2008 Singing Tooth Productions began auditioning MTA members for a couple of new numbers including our Hairspray medley – one of the biggest numbers of the show.
The auditions were a complete success and after many hours of rehearsals, make-up, filming, re-filming - what we produced was truly magical.
The Singing Tooth Scholarship award will be an annual presentation to that person we believe has something special to give to performing arts whether on or off the stage.
During our own filming with this person, and on the performances we have seen prior and since the filming – yes, we’re always watching :) we feel, although quiet and sometimes hiding in the background, took direction well and was professional, talented and hopefully has a great future within performing arts.
The award includes a scholarship to MTA in the hope that the winner will continue to shine both on and off the stage.
Our 2009 Singing Tooth Scholarship Award goes to Lily Penfold."

This show brought to the stage a fantastic new twist on musical production shows bringing together live performers and a green screen virtual chorus in a spectacular manner.
The show was top notch and the live performers in the show really stepped up to the mark and gave a more than first class performance full of energy and variety. Backed by the virtual chorus, the show gave everything from Les Mis to Chicago in a spectacular manner.
A show not to be missed.

E-Mail from a winner of the radio competition run on Telford FM:-
Hello There,
I was lucky enough to win two tickets for your show 'Musicals in Motion™' from telfordfm(Shuttsie) recently and would like to say how much my sister and I enjoyed the performance last evening. I really enjoy musicals and to see the talent that we have in Telford was amazing. The two 'live' performers, Jem and Maria, were brilliant. (I have probably seen Maria in 'Starlight Express' as I saw it in London several times.)
The 'technical wizardry' was absolutely amazing and I especially enjoyed the flying sequence from 'Wicked'.
We will both be spreading the word to our various relatives spread throughout England to watch out for your superb show coming to a town near to them!
Thank you once again for a wonderfully entertaining evening,
Judy Jones

Time for a quick update.
It's been a month since our temporary relocation to produce the shows at Clarach Bay. So what have we been upto?
We've launched:
Movies in Motion
80's in Motion
Disco in Motion
We're working on Rock in Motion and have a one-off special Musicals in Motion here in September.
So the Musicals in Motion tour....
We have a few dates left for this year and of course our Christmas in Motion show in December.
