Musicals in Motion 2

Following the success of Award-Winning “Musicals in Motion” (1), “Musicals in Motion 2” launched in November 2009 at the Yours Live! event to an audience of over 800 people.

Much anticipated and over a year in development, evolution and production, “Musicals in Motion 2” takes the audience further along its musical journey. It brings the uniqueness and technology of “Musicals in Motion” (1) with the superb vocals of Jem Brent and Rachel Slater and their enormous supporting virtual cast with spectacular lighting, costumes to produce a show like no other.

 

 

Touring in 2010, “Musicals in Motion 2” returns by popular demand to many of the theatres performed at during the 2009 tour of “Musicals in Motion” (1).

 

 

The song list and performances are very unique to this spectacular show. During 2009, audiences throughout the Country were asked to suggest the songs they would like to hear and see performed...and Singing Tooth Productions listened!

Featuring audience-chosen songs from popular musicals such as “Phantom Of The Opera” and other unmistakable songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber to foot-tapping numbers from “Copacabana” and “Me And My Girl”. The show also features incredible numbers from “Rent”, “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and “We Will Rock You” to name a few more.

“Musicals in Motion 2” includes a diverse variety of numbers that has something everyone to enjoy...especially the hilarious Singing Tooth Productions’ tribute to ABBA!

 

 

By using state-of-the-art mirror-technology and brand new lighting towers, the stage needed to host “Musicals in Motion 2” can be as small as 8m x 6.5m x 4m (w x d x h) making it an ideal show for theatres of all sizes. It also means that corporate events, hotels and smaller venues hosting special occasions or theatrical evening can play host to “Musicals in Motion 2” transforming any day or evening into a truly spectacular musical event.

 

What comes next?
2010, production has started on the 2011 tour of “Musicals in Motion 3” however, with the growing demand of songs not 100% related to musical theatre, Singing Tooth Productions are preparing to take “Musicals in Motion 3” one step further and include Movie Themes in its show list. Who can forget the theme from “Titanic” or the one from “Robin Hood Prince of Thieves” or even the awesome soundtrack from a number of “Bond” movies......watch this space!
